Meet the Team
Founder and president of Traine Construction, Matt’s can-do attitude is reflected in every member of the Traine team. Known for bringing passion and drive to every project, his love of construction started early in childhood, growing up in an entrepreneurial construction family. His official entry in the industry began as a red seal carpenter.
Matt’s drive for continued professional growth development took him across western and northern Canada, where he formed many lasting relationships. He’s especially proud of the strong, loyal relationships that he’s built with his staff and teams of suppliers and tradespeople.
In his free time, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife, Lori, and his five children along with their many friends. An outdoor enthusiast, weekends will often find Matt on anything motorized – from dirt bikes to excavators around the family orchard. His desire to give back and make a positive, lasting impact has motivated him to participate in local and international community projects.
