Matt started his career in construction as a carpenter working in the family business. He founded Traine Construction in 2000. At that time, it was a provider of construction management to a large rental home developer. Matt’s ability to form strong relationships with industry professionals quickly elevated the company to the successful business it is today.
Matt is proud that Traine is recognized for the team that brings both development, design and execution to multi-family housing. His desire to give back motivates his involvement in community projects both locally and abroad. Matt’s free time is enjoyed with his wife Lori, their family of five, and riding anything motorized (from dirt bikes to excavators).
Chad Davidson, AT
Chief Operating Officer
Chad is a 3rd generation developer/builder with hands-on experience in nearly all facets of residential development and construction and believes strongly in working towards the betterment of the communities he touches.
He enjoys the daily challenge of working in an environment where everyone is pulling together to build the best quality projects in a faster, more efficient manner than anyone else in the market. Outside of the office, Chad enjoys an active lifestyle and keeping up with the activities of his 3 kids.
Colin Gayford, CPA CMA
Chief Financial Officer
Colin has over 14 years of experience as a real estate executive. By 2004, he had obtained his professional accounting designation as a CMA. His leadership has led, among other things, to the growth of one multi-family real estate company that managed a few hundred units, to becoming a company managing over 6000 units in more than 14 centers in just six years.
In that same time period, Colin’s work with the company’s lenders and investors led to the successful placement of over $2 billion in conventional, CMHC, and mezzanine debt and he has helped raise over $85 million of private equity.
VP of Property Management
Jaimie has over two decades of progressive experience in multi-residential real estate managing communities across Canada—primarily with the country’s largest REITs. She has also developed a broad range of skills, including strategic planning and organizational design, property operations, revenue generation, budget preparation and analysis, and capital planning and project execution.
Aligning herself with Mainline Living’s commitment to providing quality, customer care, and connectedness comes easily for Jaimie and her team through their innate passion in providing Lasting and Enjoyable experiences for our residents.
Director of Development
Alisia has been with Traine since 2014 and being around the people and culture within Traine drives her motivation every day. As a passionate leader of her team, she has helped successfully complete development projects across the country including several award winning communities. Alisia is proud of the care and attention the Traine team brings to all that they do, and she’s passionate about finding efficiencies to design and make even better in every project.
Director of People & Culture
Jessica finds her motivation from the drive to develop our people and culture further with a focus on customer service, supported by systems, technology and data. She has helped bring together a vision and framework for integration and champions the Traine team to be their best. With a variety of experience across multiple industries, Jessica is currently working on improving HR systems and processes as well as introducing new technology to help our team achieve our goals.
Jenny is proud to work for an organization that recognizes the talent in its people and has enthusiastically seized every opportunity to learn and grow since she started with Traine in 2014. She’s also passionate about building up her team and helping them recognize their full potential. Her keen eye for the details and recognizing opportunities to gain efficiencies has been instrumental in the evolution of her department and their ability to consistently deliver timely and accurate reporting.
